How long have you been a director? Since 2001

Why were you interested in becoming a director? As a business manager I was keen to assist with my experience in the hospitality and gaming industries alongside my senior business management experience. Ensuring that our members receive the best value for their membership and our sports and community oriented support activities are top most in the business outcomes. 

What do you enjoy most about being a director? The camaraderie that comes with like-minded people achieving business outcomes and how it relates to improvements in membership and community. 

In your time as being a director, what have been some of the key milestones? Ensuring our sporting heritage is kept in place and achievements by many of the sporting fraternity, the outcomes of the Bandage Bear and Disability Trust Gala Evenings, the continual uplift in business through CEO placements, positive changes in food operation, the improvements in the gaming floor and the chance to future proof the business through our Master Plan. 

How do you see Aster Group as a business in five years time? Very different to today, with more emphasis on other business opportunities, ensuring that the community ethos is carried forward and catering more for children's activities and increased entertainment.
